Events Information 2011
The West Coast Lumberjack Show is a professional Logging show that is wowing audiences all over Canada and the USA, and has even traveled as far as Indonesia, Japan, England and Norway.

In a lighthearted, competitive spirit, four lumberjacks race to out-climb, out-saw, out chop and out-throw each other in a number of events.
The speed at which these men move is astounding … one glance away from the 40 foot climbing pole and the lumberjack will already have shimmied to the top and be on his way down.
Can you imagine trying to keep your balance on a 17” diameter wet rolling log while someone is trying to knock you off. These men can do it in the joisting competition… with a lot of splashing , of course.
Vrroom!… rroom!…. loud and powerful, the mighty powersaw can cut through a wood block like butter. Grunt… Grunt… Grind…Grind… this is the two-man,
traditional “peg & raker” cross-cut saw, Watch them compete head to head.
Action, fun, old-fashioned family entertainment, the West Cost Lumberjack Show is a must at the Lumby Days 2011. Show Times: Saturday 2:30 pm 4pm & 5:30pm Sunday 2pm & 4 pm |
